almost there, but not quite there category candidates, a 5 mg shot of methylphenidate half an hour before the CAT begins would very likely give them an extra focus during the duration of the test - an extra focus that can prove very decisive and earn them a few extra points. This can become the difference between receiving one or more calls from the IIMs and no call at all !

Methylphenidate is a prescription drug given to children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) to help them focus in their studies. It is completely safe if taken in moderation.

The drug is also called 'Ritalin'.
