I have been a frequent traveler by August Kranti Rajdhani Express to H. Nizamuddin and return to Valsad for the last 16 years. What I have been observing is constant deterioration in food quality. Salad supply has been stopped. Rotis are made up of maida which if eaten after few mts are stretched like a rubber. Very poor vegetable quality. A clear deterioration in dal quality. Soup is like a diluted flavoured water. On the other hand, fare is increasing constantly which also includes escalation of food prices which is included in the fare. I advice railway authorities of the rank of DRM, GM, member railway board should at least have a dinner or lunch once in III AC of AK Rajdhani.

The question about quality of food in Indian Railways itself is wrong..cos not a single passenger would say its good...its not only tasteless but most important is its not hygienic..like ticket checking squad there should be a special squad to keep check on the quality, quantity and adulteration of food served in Railways..
Meals are worst in Rajdhani express and water provided is local made not Rail neer. Complaints are unattendent since last one year. cloths used are very bad quality specially blankets never cleaned/washed.

Let me tell you that even if the trains were running on steam engine, the maintenance of trains was very good. First class meant real first class. And specially about Frontier Mail they used to say that you could set your watch with the punctuality of this train.
