Yes. If you are really intelligent, good at work, young in the team than the manager.

Manager discriminates you and propup juniors who are not good but loyal to him.

A lot of companies, especially IT companies practice Age discrimination openly... Everyone knows that laws are not implemented seriously in India... So no one cares to complain and move on...

 discrimination is a part of indian life

Except in defence and government jobs, foreign MNCs, there is discrimination everywhere. If you open a site of any private company especially family owned you will find majority of the management are filled by the family members or by their relatives or from their own community. I have faced discrimination on many occasions.
