Am in the same boat Arun. My childhood could not have been any better, any more comfortable and any more encouraging. With all that, this is the minimum I could have gotten....

This article implies that it is lower status to work as domestic help..........as long as one earns by working legally dignified manner there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Great to see Shalini performing exceeding well in the Secondry Board examination against heavy odds at home. It is in such cases that the Government should come forward and give her a scholarship, free books, bear her tution fee, etc. so that she can continue with higher education of her choice without any worry.

Problem lies with the parents who pamper and spoil them. They should ideally spend a part of their earning in helping only those needy who are really motivated and want to come up in life
