The article takes a very narrow view. It is by choice that women take pride in leaving their jobs in favour of bringing up a family. I have not seen a single government lady employee retiring or resigning at 40. A woman at 40 is a mother too and when she chooses to play a role of a mother rather than an employee, it should not be seen in bad light.
I am not sure why we call woman being good Homemaker is sacrificing her career.I would rather say that women Working for Offices are sacrificing their home which is a bigger loss.So please start understanding the real meaning of career .Career is not just doing job of someone else and investing the all the prime time and energy of life , working for someone else.
Job choices, priorities, work responsibilities vary from one woman to another. A woman has to juggle both her household chores and her career which is actually very difficult. Then again it dpends how much support she has at home to take care of the kids.... so many aspects... so please do not generalize things..:)
Our Late past PM Mrs Indira Gandhi was around 84 as far as I remember , so holding the post of a Prime Minister is the toughest job ever so she is an example of workaholic with children and family, SO WOMEN age is not a Bar for higher positions provided stay away from Jealous MEN

Yes you are right age is not bar but pleases research something before posting anything. Indira Gandhi was born in 1917 and she died in 1984 hence she was 67 yrs old when she died and not 84 yrs
Higher the post , lesser the number , so elimination starts. Or be happy with as is where is basis. Man or woman does not matter. The article is based on false assumption.

Because of heavy package company wants to get rid of 90% of such people , and other Companies too are also choosy to select them. So most of them are compelled to start Consultancy.
