Some times it seems that journalists publish stories of all negative happenings in India. It is heartening to read such stories of ordinary women doing extra-ordinary work. Such stories should be published daily so that more people irrespective of their gender get inspired. Such positive information makes you feel more happy and motivated to do someting good. Stories of murder/rapes/corruption etc shoul take back seat.

Great commitment & wonderful! God bless you Mam! Wha she said about papers is very true. Papers & TV channels report only the negative for TRPs. During Mumbai flooding, I was at Kalher when MSEB lines men were trying to light other\'s homes by climbing the poles not caring for their lives & when their homes were submerged! This was never reported, though MSEB was the first to restore 100% power! Keep Going Ms Kulkarni! We want to see you on Railway Board!
Best of luck madam, hope you get promoted quickly and move up the track. Rediff should present such features, and not gossip abt film stars or scammy politicos.
mdm, congrats .I am happy to read this that you are first woman station master but unhappy to hear that to know this you have apply in RTI . Railway should have come on its own to declare .This is tragedy of Indian govt that talent never recognized. Once more congratulation .keep it up
Her short interview is eye opener for all those men and women who keep complaining about anything and everything coming as a smallest hurdle in their work and life.
Mrs. Mamata Kulkarni has taught us what is commitment to work and how responsibility is taken in spite of all kinds of problems, negativity around.
Hats Off to her. Lot of respect and good wishes to her.
