Mr.Archer,I used to love your earlier books and still swear by them ! I continue to read your works, even though I don't like them as much now.The "Clifton Chronicles" reads exactly like a Bollywood potboiler, which I'm sure you're perceptive enough to realize,so you're in the right place now.Your transformation from creative artist to businessman, catering to your largest market,is complete.Sad,but true....

The great story-teller - enough for an introduction.

In one of the Ayn Rand novel there is a very rich man who does not want to see a great artist whose art he adores and collects; because he is apprehensive that the artist might disappoint him.
Jeffrey Archer as a human being might be having his shortcomings, but who cares, I love his plots, his narration, his characters - they are great, indeed.
