Cholesterol is the lubricant of the blood, since Doctors have no parameters to check and prescribe treatment on blood report, so this fallicy exists. Chemical aditives in our food causes inflamation in our majour viens & artiries and this is where cholesterol tends to deposit layer on layer, eventually, blocking the blood flow.. Refined oils comming out of solvent plants are biggest defaulters,as their refined oil contain few percentage of solvent then we have MSG, again a harmful chemical that is added to all fast foods.. Best cooking medium is butter, ghee and all oil from mechanical press..
repeating the same lie that saturated fats are bad, bad, bad and unsaturated fats are good whereas the opposite may be true but it is not truth that matters. it is marketing and profits that matters in today's world
our cholesterol gets oxidized when consuming cheap veg oils especially in hotels this is what produces bad oxidized cholesterol but the oil companies will never tell you this

eat eggs, cook with coconut oil, use ghee and no effect on your cholesterol. but take care not to use refined sunflower, safflower, corn, soya, Canola oils
It is ridiculous to prescribe food which are mostly imported into India and not that of Indian origin to increase good cholesteral.
It will never work to the optimal level.
There may be surely n number food products grown in Indian soil to do this job. Find out, and eat it out. Do not blindly follow the prescription of western grown food, which is just marketing technique

Normally body structure of every national would vary and the most compatible food would be that one grown in their home soil. So better go for food grown in your own soil, if not in your same native place - anywhere in India or south asian region.
