There are two types of people. Those who are satisfied with life ( may be 20% ) and those who are dissatisfied with life ( around 80% ). Writer of this article, seems to be from 80% group. Had he become a personality in Entertainment industry, after the same number of years, he would surely be DISSATISFIED only. I feel sorry for such people.

Aww..so sweet... BTW had Tim Berners Lee been satisfied with life, you woud\'nt be able to write this post on the internet today. Please do not look down upon being dissatisfied or look down upon pursuing what you love to do. It is our dissatisfaction towards our present circumstance that drives us towards excellence. Please do not confuse that with dissatisfaction with material needs like money, house, gold, land etc. That is not the context here. Best Wishes Pramit
All the Great Composers and Inventors practically starved. 1) Thyagaraja 2) Annamacharya etc. Walt Disney declared bankruptcy three times. If you do not want the tread-en path then you have nontreaden problems :)
First you have to decide if what you look for IS MONEY OR Satisfaction of doing what you want. If it is money look for a profession in which you can make really money. If is satisfaction then you may starve but you do what you like best. I am a mechanical engineer. After working in three different jobs I went on my own.I did not make lot of money,I derived lot of satisfaction in my life. When Tulasidas was asked why he is writing Ramayanam again he said" for my own satisfaction"Well Ramacharita manas is a epic in its own right and there is no place in India where Hanuman Chalisa is not read everyday. In Telugu M.S.RamaRao wrote Sundarakanda. It has become a household in Telugu speaking people.

The main strength of a country now-a-days is determined by the technological advancements it makes.
But our intellectual students end up being lured by MNCs as their sales boys and girls.
If those super brainy students applied their analytical and inventive minds towards technological developments in India, we would have prospered very much.
India needs them to be entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, professors, etc. rather than some Manager in some foreign MNC.
Now you have made me confused too. While in class 9, you loved physics and maths, equally loved English literature and history. While in college, you liked having technical and leadership skills, liked opportunities to conduct events & arrange activities, liked to have people look up to you, were amazing by subjects like maths, mechanical engineering, power systems, wanted to get into Bollywood and hated IT or computer science. Despite all these and also being a trained singer, Toastmaster, and theatre actor at Bengaluru, surprisingly, you are working as a Sales & Marketing Professional in Software Product Industry! Is this what you love doing?! If it is, then that premier B-School in Mumbai must have changed your likings of school and college days.

As it happens in life. Most of us the human beings are never satisfied in life and always compare the world with our own beliefs. When a child starts walking & running, a parent is more concerned of his/her getting hurt than to enjoy his/her free run. So this happens till they see you finally settled in life. Pl excuse me I don\'t consider singing,Acting etc as career. A real carrier is when you learn a real skill and go on refining it till you leave this world. So my dear be happy and excel in your life find new ways, invent some new gravity Rules and leave a big foot print on this Earth before saying goodbye.
