Accident risk is also much less as compared to driving scooter or car.

I am a diabetic with upper limit of 230-250.
How much time should I devote to cycling daily?

I feel, you shd start with few minutes(say 10-20 m/d), gradually increase in every 5 days interval and cap the timing when felt exhausted. A.Kar

Dear Nixon, your story is encouraging. I and my friend started cycling since this January, reason very similar to that you have and I experienced very good result. So we keep continuing this. Every Saturdays we go out of city in our cycle and ride 60-100kms. Also we made a point to cycle to office as much as possible. I look forward to meet you and some other enthusiastic friends replied here.

I love the way Nixon has found an easy answer in adopting a life style close to nature, and his prescription to everybody. Yes, to make the Earth sustain itself and the mankind from the prospect of a sooner extinction, we all should turn to and be ever inspired by the mother nature.
