Such a wonderful person, I wonder what made the UPA government not chose him as the president for the second time. Shameless people. And the same people shredding crocodile tears. What a shame!

He personifies the true spirit of Indian ethos. That is why he almost had a child like passion to serve the nation in myriad ways. He arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan with 2 suitcases and walked out 5 years later with 2 suitcases only. He even donated all his accumulated money by way of salary etc to an NGO named PURA to work on ways to improve rural living. That is why he is apt to receive the Mahatma tag after Gandhiji.

He was undoubtedly a superhero, rather our only true hero in public life. He symbolized all that a human being should nurture and cherish. A life of simplicity, positivity, integrity, dedication to cause, nationalist to the core beyond any narrow confines of community and creed. He stood for India and Indian values. How many of our public leaders can even claim to be that. India has lost its true and only public hero. RIP Sir! you will always live in the hearts of all Indians who value all that you stood for and lived by.
Dr. Kalam has captured the mind of every one of us and is the only President to get this recognition. Of the past Presidents except for Dr. Rajndra Prasad, Dr. Radhakrishnan and R. Venkatraman the others are only names in the list.
