Youth equals energy ?????
by Satyakam raut on Jan 27, 2015 08:33 AM  | Hide replies

True , with almost 65% population below the age of 35, and a ever increasing youth population India does have in it an inherently large work force . However , this pool of resource, wild, energetic and useful as it may be , would not be realized till there are enough jobs for them . If opportunities and jobs don\'t get created , the results would be catastrophic . Looting, robbery , theft and violent crimes would increase ten fold . So , like energy , oil , petrol and coal, the youth of the country are a resource that should be carefully groomed and trained . Else , the consequences would be unfavorable .

Half the time the Gen-Y(Z now?) are hooked to their devices. I say half because the other half is used for indulgence: junk food, drug-induced sleep, etc
I have seen an employee actually die in the office, on the face of his laptop: he was just 32.
Bad lifestyle, unwanted distractions (read mobiles), little or no physical exercise...

And I am not blaming them: Parents, in their self-imposed targets (read money), often do not spend quality time with their children when the kids expect them to: it is a vicious but unfortunate chain
