Market is from Maarukatte of Kannada, Cow from Govu in Sanskrit and the list goes on. This clearly shows that Indian culture is far far older than western languages.

There are a number of other terms which indicate that English terms have come out of Sanskrit/tamil languages. Mother from Maata, Brother from Bhraatha, Sister from Swasru, Son from Soonuhu, Catamaran from Kattumaram (tamil), cow from Go(Sanskrit), Man(from Manushya),etc., etc.

It is not Tamil. It is an olden Dravidien langugue which given bearth to 5 present day daravidian langugue(Tulu,Tamil,Kannada,Telugu and Maleyalam). However amoung these 5 langugues Tulu is very near to that old Dravidian langugue. That old dravidian langugue was as old as samskrit.Since samskrit is a structural langugue it continued in same old style while other langugues got infulence and got new form.
This information is only for fact finders not for lingustic chovonolist.

Not 5. There are 21 southern languages that are direct descendants of Tamil, including the 5 major ones. Most northern languages are a mix of Tamil and Sanskrit or Prakrit and in some cases Bali.

Again, Mahesh is pointing out it is not Tamil, it is a language from which present day Tamil has retained most.

they have St.Peter, where St is saint. it has come from sant (meaning sadhus) in sanskrit. some more are Guru, mantra etc.
also the story of a big storm and the leader putting all species and animals putting in a wooden boat that is described in bible is stolen from just one chapter of the 9th canto of massive Srimad Bhagvata Purana that contains 12 such cantos.
