Indian workers have no option with the Indian politicians turning their backs on labour reforms and safety. They have to work for more than what is prescribed by ILO & WHO or remain jobless. Even MNC's make the workers work more than the prescribed hours. Every type of fixing is decided by politicians.
Dyeing companies in Tirupur (Tamilnadu) have minimum 72 hours work week (12 hours a day x 6 days work a week), paying salaries as low as 10,000/- pm. Workers in the gigantic cloth shops have to work even longer with still less salary.

After a certain age, the will to party has decreased considerably. Options like reading, music, meditation and talking to near and dear ones seem to more rejuvinating. Maybe this is not the same rfor everyone.
This message should be clear not only to the government but to the big employers particularly the MNCs in IT sector. And the government should strictly enforce 48 hours a week norm.
