Dear Rediff Team, What a noble job you are doing by bringing to light the horror stories in hospitals. But wait a minute, any chance of your inviting readers to write about pleasant experiences with doctors, nurses and hospitals? I guess not! That doesn't make for interesting reading, right? Shame on you guys for one sided reporting. Pathetic journalism to say the least.
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS IVF IS DONE BY ORDINARY DOCTORS WITHOUT ANY EXPERTISE. THEY DON'T REFER PATIENTS TO THE RIGHT DOCTOR. FURTHER IN SOME CASES 'DISCOUNTS' ARE ALSO OFFERED TO ATTRACT PATIENTS.IT IS NOTHING BUT RECKLESS EXPLOITATION OF CHIDLESS COUPLES.
Story 1 Endometrial biopsy is a diagnostic procedure (test to know of underlying problem in lining of the woomb). It is not a treatment of infertlity. No one can become pregnant as a result of this test alone. There is something missing in the story - what treatment was given after the biopsy. I am not commenting on IVF results of a particular hospital as I dont have the statistics. IVF remains the only treatment in many cases of infertility.
Story 2- There are Anti cancer drugs which are used in joint problems. Azathioprine is one of the most effective drugs in Rheumatoid arthritis and many auto-immune conditions (where body 's immune cells attack own body tissue). I am making a general comment.
IVF hospitals have a very low success rate! Even in such a disdainful institutionalism, these hospitals have everything to be cheerful while they build lucrative business empire out of failed services! When the country has potential children wandering all over, why can't people adopt one to make their life all the more blessed instead of running after all the immoral tricksters widely prevalent in the hospitals??
it seems a bogus story as the above said doctor has seen his brother in june-july.as per him blood count of his brother was normal then.it means he must have gone thru his records.he didnt find anything wrong at that time but in Dec he was shocked.either author is telling a lie or he does nt know that some anti cancer drugs are used in knee problem. next come to the so called IVF treatment.everyone knows that the success rate is very low and it costs much... very much.but these IVF clinics are only for those who are either impatient or desperate enough.and ENDOMETRIAL BIOPSY is a diagnostic process.it is not a therapy in itself....as said by the so called victim.

Hello Mr XYZ The advice How many eminent doctors have faith as well time to compare the existing reports, they simply suggest for further tests instead of going through the reports they say they don't have time They wish to provide to their own test centers Instead pointing finger or blaming it's lie why don't we teach the mindless patient to get second opinion Friend it's life every patient believes a doctor but the doctor don't have time or subjective knowledge to diagnose so better blame society
Th story given is vague and lacks the vital details about diagnosis and the name of drugs. In some of the medical disorders affecting the joints, some drugs are prescribed which are also used in anti cancer chemotherapy. In my opinion, it not the drug therapy which may be at fault but the subsequent follow up of undesirable effects of these drugs especially on their effects on tissues related to forming various blood cells.
Can the people sharing their experience name the hospitals or doctors they got treatment from and ruined their or their dear ones life. This news item would benefit such patients by taking precaution.

Its a process to first check via biopsy and if necessary corrects the uterus lining if there is a problem. Primarily in ladies who have fibroids that can prevent women from getting pregnant.
The best suggestion to get pregnant is to try Chinese Accupuncture with the egg herb treatment it has a very high sucess rate.
