Looks like Indian Town Planning experts did not have opportunity to develop Shantiniketan. Like to know if Ministry of Urban Development has any plans to make Shantiniketan a Smart City.
Mentioned list of eminent personalities associated with Santiniketan in some way or other is found to be very limited one. Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira gandhi (was a student), C.F.Andrews, Jagadish Bose, Satyajit Ray (Student), Ramkinkar Baize, Asit Kumar haldar (Artist), Sarbopalli Radhakrishnan were only to name a few.
