I personally prefer cycling to work . But conditions in India are just not suitable for that . As mentioned in the article such as pollution , rash driving motorists , bas roads, hawkers , pedestrians , traffic ..etc . all contribute for a messy cycling experience . Add to that the hot/humid weather in our cities makes it even more horrible experience. Unless the Government takes this seriously and introduces a strict system wherein cyclists could move around freely without being bothered by the above mentioned elements. Situation is different in foreign countries where cyclists are respected . In India cyclists are ridiculed . But more and more cycling people would surely mark a beginning of a new era and force the Government and civic authorities to act .
