JUST DONT AGREE
by ketan on Dec 05, 2015 05:05 PM

I just dont agree with this girl. Every place, religious or comercial have their own rules. And if you want to visit it, you have to follow the rules. If you do not agree with rules then dont go there. Tomorow people will say, 1. i will drink alcohol and visit, 2. i will smoke in the premises.. 3. I will go with my foot wear etcc.. there is no end to freedom. Freedom doesnt means breaking rules. Also the statistics that 88% women dont have access to sanitary napkins is wwrong.. today 62% of women is using cellphones, so how is it possible that they cant have the access to napkins.. They may be using alternative methods comfortable to them...

I have gone to various temple along with my family members no body incl priests have asked from ladies about menses etc. Even ladies go to small temples locally and in the crowd of devotees hardly any body cares asking such silly questions. It is another matter and my personal attitude during menses that a lady may not like to go.These r modern times and people are quite understanding. But if a lady is bentbupon taking permission from a priest to enter a temple naturally priest will advise her according to his knowledge and mental understanding.Even in vaishno devi yatra many ladies stand in Q awaiting darshan of goddess but nobody quetions from ladies about menses status.Such types of artivles keep appearing in our society to defame our cultural status.

Happy to Bleed

Its all due to ignorance of our religious people as well as the society who have blindly been following the traditions without explaining the logic behind certain prohibitions. Girls and women are as pure as our Goddess are. It is only to provide them with the physical rest during their menstruation period and to save them from hard labor. There was no restriction as such to lie down on the floor. Rather, a hard bed is better during this period and as such any wooden Takhat with proper cotton mattress is also better. In order to save them from temptation of eating pickles, which may be unsuitable during the period, women are advised to keep themselves away and therefore not to touch the same. there are so many other logic which should me made available to all.

This is nothing to do with religion. women in many places do not have access to water, toilet, education, health checkup which makes themselves being aware of proper living conditions.

about 3 to 4 crores people are visiting every year. It is practically difficult to give security for all especially young ladies. But nowdays girls are not accepting their SWOT. and secularist and social media doing their part niecely without nowing the reality.

Fact is, women are not allowed inside temples (or in some households even to participate in puja) not out of their own choice. It's imposed on them. There can be no justification for that.

pooja and function have certain rules and discipline. Even a nursery school has some rules.
If you want to remove every thing and want freedom, is something else. Please note gold ornment and valuable are kept in locker while graden equipment are kept outside. Be practicall, freedome have two edges.
