It is a great place, no doubt. The overhyped Alcatraz (only because of Hollywood) is the place one should avoid. As many Tour Guides candidly say, "You got to see it to believe that there nothing there to see." But why not mention MUIR Woods, perhaps the greatest thing near SFO?
