The road from Darjeeling to Pelling, though very picturesque,is very bad due to lack of maintenance by the West Bengal Govt

The hilly road from Darjeeling to Gangtok along the river Teesta is marvelous. Even after 30 years it is still green in my mind!

the road to harsley hills from madanapalle in Chittore dt in Andhra Pradesh for about 10 km is a beautiful road with wind whislers and with eucalyptus trees. It is a Andhra ooty.

wow.. after bandipur forest there are 2 lane to go Ooty, I took 36 pins route it was fun as well as scary :) you have to be very careful in this route

True.Roads connecting the country side, are full of unexpected & beautiful sceneries. I was fortunate to have travelled along 5 of the above, years ago, (all in the south)on annual trips, and have great memories of these for retired life now.

Rediff has missed the highest motorbale road I world at 19500 ft at Khardongla in Ladkh region. One of the most picturesque sight. Ofcource, one should not stay there for long due to lower oxygen.
