By and large only Bengalis fry the fish for making fish curry. 2. bay leaf, cumin and red chilly 'phoran' (nearly burn in hot oil specific spices/ ingredients - in this case bay leaf, cumin and red chilly - initiating Bengali style of cooking) is used only in Bengali style of cooking. 3. Process that follows till end, very well is Bengali style - may be little modernism influenced here and there. She deserves appreciation from Bengalis at least; because Bengali young ladies now a days would endure second-degree burn if venture to fry fish in oil.    Forward   |   Report abuse
