It makes lot of sense. In fact, if you get hold of a personal copy of the news paper, then you contribute to news print wasteage. In our country(India), large no. of news papers are printed, and hence in the very near future, there will be shortage of paper for news printing. It is the best habit to go the the nearest public library for reading the day's news paper.
I found some of the IITans working on projects which help general public with dedication. I think beneficiaries (of Super 30) like Subham Kumar Gautam should contribute to Super 30 scheme or IIT students with weak economic background.
I am deeply moved by the narration of the story of Shubham and his mentor Mr. Anand Kumar. Before going into the story of Shubham one needs to know the story of anand Kumar in order to understand how one’s struggle can inspire another’s . In fact Anand Kumar is himself a legend at a very young age of 42. He is an Indian mathematician and a columnist for various national and international mathematical journals and magazines. He has been invited by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University to speak on his globally acclaimed effort to mentor students from the underprivileged sections for admission to IIT. Many students appear at the test, and eventually he takes thirty intelligent students from economically backward sections, tutors them, and provides study materials and lodging for a year. So if you compare the stories of Shubham and Anand Kumar, one will be seeing trhe consistency of purpose on the part of Mr. Aanand Kumar and quite clearly he was not tryin g monetizing his good work now for his own personal advantage. Now, at least one institute is there to take care of the talented and meritorious students from the poor economic strata to face the challenges before them. As long as the Ramanujam Foundation religiously follows it is own declared principles and purposes, there is no reason why more and more of Shubhams don’t come up. They should also pay back in stead of taking away all the benefits for personal developments. .

Congratulations for this young grad and great respects to Anand Kumar. I only hope and pray that atleast these kind of people like Shubham stays back and works for the country for some time, unlike most of the IITian\\\'s who are causing brain drain after studying at goverment costs
