Beauty lies not in the complexion cloud but in good features.That's why late smita patio,Nandita Bose& rekha though dark in complexion are considered to be more beautiful than many of their contempories.beauty lies in good features& figure and not in complexion,unfortunately in India majority of grooms prefer fair complexion rather than good features( for getting fair children).But wise&intelligent gives more importance to other qualities of a woman that makes married life a happy one.
I don't think that there will be an end for colour discrimination. Being a dark complexion I had been facing discrimination since my childhood. During school studies I got comments on me every day. It was a great shock to me when a teacher had her own classified me as SC and recommended for free school fee/books. People used to called me by colour instead of my name. I also reverted back by abusing them as and when such comments passed on me.
