Is Apple iOS 8 a flop show?

 2G to 3G

The main problem in iOS 8 is you have no option to switch to 2G. You can only switch between 3G and 4G. Why is this problem not higlighted on any reviews on the net? Ofcourse iOS 8 is a big flop.
