Education for all

There may be several ways but one sure way is to "make it compulsory for the Children of all MPs, MLAs to study upto Graduation, only in Govt Schools & Colleges, within their Constituency only". This will not only result in education accessible to all but also will lead to alround development, all over the Country.

You are funny! What do you mean when you say MPs and MLAs should have graduation? Just a paper of degree certificate? They can produce it easily. Establish a college and get it affiliated to some University, enroll in that college, need not attend any class or practical, get term sanctioned, appoint some one to write examination paper, and get degree or post graduate degree or even PhD. Is this difficult for politician. Is it not that majority of our degree holders are doing something like this? Or how would explain 10% employ-ability of graduates?

You dont seem to have read my view properly. I said "their Children must study only in their Constituency upto Graduation. If this is implemented, these MPs & MLAs (who are the kind of Graduates you mentioned) will start good Schools & Colleges (may be force Govt to start in theior constituencies) for the sake of their children (since we have seen that our MPs & MPAs are never bothered about anyone or all in their Constituency or in the Country, except their family) Hope my message is clear.

I woul dnot say that they should have Graduation but would certainly say that they must write an entrance exam, every time they contest. And the syllabus will be simple like figures/statistics on various public issues like say Road length in 1955 & now, laid during which Govt, NO of Schools/teachers, students drop outs/reasons, hospitals, availability of medicines, patients, patients cured or referred to bigger hospital/reasons, crop tonnage, failure, loss etc, drinking/irrigation water availability, reasons for shortage, public transport for school children, interstate etc, Public distribution system, old & new industries (if any) labour problem, unemployment, crime rate etc., but just in their Constituency (for which they are contesting) is more than enough. All these people rant anything in the Assembly or Parliament, with figures supplied by their Chamchas, dug out from Govt Offices. And more often than not our Govt Officials are engaged only in such service than any genuine public service.

I know they are all capable of producing any degree required for the occasion. Do you know that the latest fasion/fad of all IAS & IPS Officers is to add Ph.D to their names? Can anyone answer/imagine how they can get so much time to work for Ph.D with their Official responsibilities? That shows why our Ph.Ds are under rated and why common man's work never get done, even after several reminders or postponements. One University (in the geographic region of the newly formed AP but started about 10 yrs ago) has produced more no of Ph.Ds in less than 5 yrs which not even other 100 yrs old University had produced in 100 yrs. Your doubts are very genuine in that respect.
