Dear Malvika, Your courage to come out of the crisis is outstanding, which requires a solid heart with stubborn thoughts. Wishing you a colourful future ahead. Thankyou.
This whole narration was inspiring the line "I would not have wanted to live a mediocre life. I have always been scared of mediocrity". You have been through much suffering and you have our respect for having overcome them. But you seem to have developed a defense mechanism of looking down at "ordinary people" or "mediocre people" whom you despise. Please realize that everyone is a hero in his own life in his/her own way. This is why in our philosophy, we have the concept of the same "atma" dwelling in all. I would in all humility advise some therapy to balance your life still further.

The book that you are so proudly holding in your hand had many "mediocre" people who learnt the art and technology of printing and made their services available. They will not get articles written about them, sure, but they enabled you. Your parents were mediocre people too, who stood by you, spent money and lavished attention to bring you to where you are today.
The whole article till nearly the end was so energizing and inspiring till the line "I would not have wanted to live a mediocre life. I have always been scared of mediocrity". I know you have been through a lot and we all respect your achievements. But in the process of your suffering you seem to have cultivated a defense mechanism of looking down at others. You do not probably realize how obnoxious this line sounds. Implying that normal people going about their lives are "mediocre" and their fate is frightening. Please realize that everyone in his own little way is a hero. Going further, the same atma dwells in those "mediocre" people.
Our society always looking to the disabled with a different view, sure your story may change few of them. All the best for your future and your service to the society.
Dear Malvika, I am very -very impressed by your outstanding courage and positive attitude towards life. 99% of so called “abled” people do not achieve what you have achieved at this young age. People stare at you because they are jealous of you!! Salute to you and your parents. Keep up the good work. Best wishes. Veera
