There are budget hotels in every place visited by tourists in India. Unfortunately, an overwhelming majority of them are too filthy to stay in, much less stay in during a holiday and relax !

The article is well written and with pictures.Been there to do some soul searching.Really beautiful place.Try the Guru Kripa close to the bus stand.Food is good and rates reasonable

BUT IN OUR HISTROY BOOK IS FULL OF MUGHALS AND GHANDHI FAMILIES STORIES. LOCAL RULES ARE GIVEN A LITTE IMPORTANCE. FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE TO MAKE OUR HISTORY TRUE AND CORRECT AND KEPT AWAY FROM SECULAR DEVIL
I visited Maheshwar during 1994.I got amazed by the linear water way/width of River Narmada, almost 650mtrs to 1.00 Km.The fort / palace an Architectural Marvel.I have the sweet memories of the place.It's really a wonderful experience to go for a boating and watch the beauty of the monument.
