First of at all I congratulate you for taking dare decision to do farming. use of jeevamrutha, traditional varieties which is part and parcel of orgaic farming. I recommend you to use neem based pesticides like NSKE, NEEM SOAP AND ALSO PONGAMIA SOAP etc,. for insect pest control.for any fungal and bacterial diseases you can use biocontrol agents like TRICHODERMA,PSEUDOMONAS etc.,I would like to share any information to this boy for any farming practice. instead of fertilizers u can use compost,FYM, SHEEP or goat manure to get more yields.

The founder of ISKCON (Int'l Society for Krishna Conciousness) way back in 1950s told the then Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru that India is basically a Agricultural Country and India needs development in Agricultural Field and not in any Industry. don't ever convert agricultural land into industrial land. if you manufacture nuts and bolts there, people will starve of foods. I appreciate the efforts taken by Tibin and team and wish them all the best.

Left Front in West Bengal has paid the price for trying to convert fertile agricultural land of poor farmers into industrial land in Singur through muscle and money power.
