The author has not left anything! Youngsters nowadays only enjoy what is prohibited in the article. Those home made Jowar and Ragi rotis, the most nutritious foods I know are considered a peasant's food and almost abhorred in the cities.

So prevent your kids from soliciting them; who's stopping you. The truth is these articles have become status symbol.
"I always go to Mac/ Starbucks/ KFC.....", "I can never eat anything except xx cookies....." "These chocolates are my life....." are all ways of showing off your riches, saying that you're rich (since these are all costly & average people can never afford to buy these.)

You are right, all these foods covered in the article are consumed by the rich, not by the average Indian. The rich have enough money to get themselves treated at the best hospitals. so let them eat. Articles must relate to India.
