Fact is...

Many startups exist only so that - its founders can put the word: CEO/Founder on their Visiting Card.

So, that they can put their pictures on their website.

So, that they can speak at every conference, and get photographed.

They spend very little time actually doing the product.

Result is a f@ rtup instead of startup

90% of startups fail anyway

Good Lessons
by Srinivas on Nov 27, 2014 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

"Wasting money on unwanted things" and "Waiting for the perfect product launch" seem to be 2 big stumbling blocks to success. Many of these Entrepreneurs come from a settled Corporate background and find it difficult to operate without an office or an office with the bare minimum essentials. So instead of focusing on getting their product into the market, they spend vital time and money on decorating their office. And then they keep on prototyping/ fine-tuning their product, with nothing to offer to the market for over a year. Result - guaranteed failure even before they start.
