This could be very good decision as It will boost up Indian Uni & Colleges to improve and to make standard as per western uni. It is also true Indian brains are best If they have been given oppertunity.

many comfortable in India

Indians are brainy and even those from second rung schools are solid - workers. This is the reason outsourcing has become a major cause of concern for
many. Money and place preferences are relative. There are many well of people India who do not want to step outside their home country. They can maintain a good life style ( definitely by Indian standards only ) and earn work satisfaction that comes with tehse outsourced jobs.

Fully Agree with this article, Realities are hard to digest

It is true that a foreign degree adds flair to the CV but in terms of value it is worth a penny. In many organisations I have been employee I found that Indian degrees are far better in imparting necessary knowledge to the students vis-a-vis foreign degree. Also return on investment isn't guranteed too.

Well said, Amit!

Also, Foreign curricula don't cover Indian realities and working conditions!

Only candidates with foreign degrees from reputed foreign universities get good jobs in India because having such candidates in high positions in Indian companies boosts the snob value of the Indian companies!

People getting foreign degrees should not come back to India because, firstly, they are not needed here and secondly their foreign education is better suited for jobs in the foreign country where they got these degrees!

india believes in cheap labour
by brian crasto on Oct 08, 2014 01:45 PM  | Hide replies

In india they prefer a person with local qualification as he is much more cheaper. He has only a paper degree so it is easier for him become a slave. As the employers themselves dont follow the laws of the land they prefer a dumb headed guy to do the job
