nice to see an organization achieving success with differently abled people. this should be an eye opener for bigger organizations to follow this example. it thus becomes clear such employment make business sense too.Hats off

What is the net take-home?

One question--how much are they paid? This question is important because the so called charitable institutions have developed an image of cheating the very people they claim to serve. I only hope this organization is not like the others.
A few employees, especially former employees too could have been interviewed.

Instead we call the ones who live on skin show as "celebrities" and they live on a fan following with king's heaven.

The interview does not
by piri on Oct 02, 2014 04:10 PM  | Hide replies

reveal what the profiles of the differently abled employees are.

There is one mention about dealing with hearing disability.

But there is no more said about what types and what extent of disabilities the employees suffer from and how these are addressed or made use of.

In that context, the interview is disappointing.

You are too inquisitive.
I think rediff needs to replace their journalists with you.

OR
Maybe you should get into interviewing celebs asking them what they eat, wear, drink, etc and (virtually) slapped the way deepika padukone did to TOI.

Learn to be appreciative.

Little oaf, you have no idea at all about the vast hordes of silent and suffering parents waiting in desperation to see whether there would be any chance at all for their disabled wards to lead independent and near normal lives!

Either one has to be such a parent oneself or has to have sufficient common sense and understanding to know why such details are extremely important in such a resource starved country as India.
