I have failed to understand how for eternity, it seems all those who could be and are responsible could not assess the immense potential DIU offers, for tourism If we have an answer to GOA it is DIU...without any doubt and I think much too exciting...alternative...

Beauty of Diu
by Dibyendu Das on Nov 29, 2014 10:47 AM

I had been to Diu a few years ago and found its beauty enchanting, eye catching with blue sea and blue sky and clean roads. Tourism in this place should be further developed.

Fond remembrance of my stay in Diu
by kanchan purkayastha on Nov 28, 2014 12:16 PM

Seeing the vibrant pictures of Diu refreshed my memories of stay in various phases from 1997 to 2000.During my days in Air Force,I had various opportunities to visit the place.I visited almost every nook and corner in and around the city and truly,it was fun time for me and I enjoyed my days with right spirit. Still,I cherish the memories of taking bath in Nagoa Beach, visiting the holy churches and going for buying sea fish. Every time,I found the place in differentway & moods. Frankly speaking,my days in Diu had been the most memorable part of life and still I encourage my near & dear to visit to the place and those who made a visit to the place thanked me immensely. I am looking forward to visit to the place again and again.

Refreshed memories
by Ajitkumar Pandit on Nov 27, 2014 02:55 PM

This article has refreshed my memories of a trip to Diu 2 years ago. Though beautiful it is a tiny island & there are not too many places of tourist interest. It is not worth for Mr. Suryakant Agrawal to make an exclusive trip from Gurgaon. One can think of clubbing it with Somnath, Gir etc.It is accessible by road from anywhere in India. Nearest railhead is Veraval.Buses ply from Mumbai, Ahmedabad & most cities in Gujerath. It is connected by air from Mumbai, Porbunder etc.
There are standard hotels ranging from Rs.1500 to 2500.
