This article has refreshed my memories of a trip to Diu 2 years ago. Though beautiful it is a tiny island & there are not too many places of tourist interest. It is not worth for Mr. Suryakant Agrawal to make an exclusive trip from Gurgaon. One can think of clubbing it with Somnath, Gir etc.It is accessible by road from anywhere in India. Nearest railhead is Veraval.Buses ply from Mumbai, Ahmedabad & most cities in Gujerath. It is connected by air from Mumbai, Porbunder etc. There are standard hotels ranging from Rs.1500 to 2500.

By railway station is Verval 3 hour drive from railway station or By plane 55 min from mumbai airport can visit Somnath Temple also Sansan Gir forest
