Whole world is Hindu (Human). Everybody needs to build the Temple within Oneself establishing the Idols i.e. Objectives in Life, through the development of the Body, Mind, Emotions, Intellect, Creativity and Consciousness. Vasudhaiva Kutumbam -- The World is One Family.

Mind Clear,

I agree. One person talks crazy he is shunned by society as insane.

Group of people talk crazy, society accepts it as religion.

Live and let live. You don't need these monuments then.

Amazing structures

Excellent architecture, mind blowing stone carvings to demonstrate India's richness. But, India worships self made godmen who bathe in milk and make make their bhakts drink it. How sad... :(

When will this madness end???

temples...
by Pradeep Bhattacharya on Nov 24, 2014 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

Dealing with subject temples... in present context it is better to discuss about the modern temples of India ie the modern infrastructures-viz national highways, ports, dams, airports, oil and gas refineries to name a few. With a gradual slide/erosion in the Neheruvian model in our economy, and the adoption of mixed economy, our system has perhaps given way to private enterprises.Government has no business to do business, that should be left to businessman who are in trade and commerce. We cannot expect Government to manufacture bread(Modern Bread)or run lorry transport business.Government should govern and let free enterprise flourish to rotate the wheels of the economy faster and speedier. This will generate employment and income with more commerce and business flourishing thereby benefiting all in the economy, from revenue generation to increase in GDP, to employment generation further inducing capital inflows from FDI.

But the infrastructure should be created by govt only - or else common man has to pay through his nose.
for example-
1) Entry tax was levied for entry into Mumbai for building flyovers. The costs of flyovers have been recovered long past but the toll is continued on some unknown pretexts.
2) In a similar manner now a person coming from Panvel to Mumbai has to pay toll twice for one way travel, including toll at Mumbai entry.
3) In Maharashtra toll booths have flourished in every nook & corner roads & people have to doll out in hundreds irrespective of conditions of the roads.
4) Recently there was a uproar in Kolhapur against toll, as the contractor had started collecting toll much before required completion of the work. The matter is subjudice now.

I wonder what state govt does for construction of roads with the road tax collected from vehicles, which totals to thousands of crore rupees.

Hi Pradeep,

Would like to know why is that in the USA the private enterprises are failing, and technology is making and killing millions of jobs, jobless people are on the rise, economists including those from the MIT, Harvard blaming technology is used to kill jobs and are very concerned... can u please explain me... as long as people like u r there, which sadly u r a fellow bengali India will go more backwards!!!! A capitalist model be it state or free market is a total failure, but an Economic model based on State as the key natural resources company, and services as a private enterprise and where people are given basic and extended education, free healthcare, food for all actually creates more economic growth, as that in the case of china, vietnam, russia, bolivia, EU states excluding Britian... I pity people like u who has no understanding and just blindly says FDI... Imagine a human being require money, and he has no option than to sell his house, car, etc, his kidneys to get money, yes in the short term he gets money but in the long term he looses everything, and eventually Dies... that is the typical story of FDI!!!! I m sure u might be now a BJP supporter!!!!
