just about there but not quite so, here is something that might push them over the last rung :

Take a 0.5 mg shot of methylphenidate about an hour before the test starts.

This drug is adminstered to children with Attention Deficit Disorder in order to help them focus on their academics and is clinically proven to be effective.

In this case, the drug helps the candidate easily cut out all distracting thoughts and remain focssed without anxiety for the duration of the test. Often, the factor that can cause the biggest loss of precious time for the CAT candidate is worry about his/her performance in the paper. The drug helps in cutting out such thoughts significantly. Such focus can make a very vital difference for the candidate who is "at the fringes of the cut-offs".
