hi subin... very nicely written and a refreshing article.. good work.. enjoy your travails..
from a fellow mallu..

my memory of a bullet gives me nightmares.. this senior in college used to own one and his favourite passtime was ragging/beating me up.. whenever i used to hear the sound of the buller i would start shivering thinking its him.. haha.. good old days..

cheers

My Royal Enfield Thunderbird Cruise 350 CC Black Stone

Hi all
I bought this two months back and it is more than what I expected from it. It is totally digital, auto start. I have not used manual kick even once in two months. Rather it can be said that manual kick is still virgin. Beautiful machine. One day I was stopped on the way by a Honda City car owner he very politely asked me " ketle ma ave chhe" ( how much it costs), it always happens when I move on the streets late nights and early morning, people can not avoid a look at it. As far as service part till now I did not find any difficulty except the gear changer which is its perennial problem. I love it more than my Honda city.

Bullet- Pathetic peice of engineering

For the cost of latest bullet you can buy a refined engine with better ride comfort..I find the sound absolutely polluting and irritating (can also be compared with the diesel auto variant of Piagio). Technically its like tractor among cars. Time to move ahead and keep this machine as a vintage model. By the way I m a Honda Enthu..fiy

Bullet a different breed !
by Indian Prince on Nov 18, 2014 08:08 PM  | Hide replies

Personal Opinion ... Bullet is a different breed and not just 'another bike'. Guess it should match your character and personality. My frank opinion, I moved on to a Bullet last year after using Honda Unicorn for six years. After one year of Bulletering, i feel I was better placed with a Unicorn ! I am missing my Unicorn :( ... Except for the thump I feed this is a rusty and slow bike. Less on performance and more on maintenance. May be a good highway bike but certainly a pain in traffic congested city like Bangalore. Planning to sell my one year old bullet and jump back into the 150 cc league .. may be a Suzuki GS150R this time ! :-)

Again just a personal opinion.

Nothing wrong with your opinion and no need to be apologetic:) But why post the same three times?
