In terms of Dirtyness, Pollution, Population, Undoubtedly Mumabi is the worst.
Please don't get used to the filth.
In Monsoon, the whole of Mumbai is like a big gutter.
And believe me, this is really not normal. It is all because of the negligence of the municipality and the ineffective, corrupt government.

Municipality is only partly to blame. Indians buy nature are dirty and litter in public. A strong fine and monitoring system needs to be implemented by Modi to prevent this.

Silly survey
by Srini on May 27, 2014 10:23 AM

I don't get it why such surveys are done. All most all the indian cities would rank very low. Instead of harping on this why don't people spend effort on suggesting way to improve the quality of life. Bangalore or mumbai or chennai all have their own problems which is made worse by the apathy of the administrators.

don't get carried away by the myth that " bangalore is best city "..that's a fake myth created by real-tors to earn money..i was also under that imperssion and live in bangalore for 6 years..now i live in chennai..wat a relief ...i'm feeling like im out of jail..free and smooth roads, less pollution..quality food..now a days A/C are available everywhere so no worries of the climate..in bangalore during summer it will be very horrible.. there won't be a/c anywhere in bangalore..bangalore has severe power shortage..water shortage .high in pollution..overcrowded everywhere..horrible roads..traffic jams....overall the quality of life is poor.

Mumbai becomes worst even to live along or with family
by SMT on May 27, 2014 07:21 AM  | Hide replies

Not only it is worst in visit as a tourist but it is worstly packed train, worst in traveling during day time (some of the areas) and room rents / cost are too high to afford. People are disposing of their flats and shifting away from their current station (of stay) to much cheap areas where they can afford to buy but after few years say abround 2-5 years, that area becomes like the first area where they stayed and this way people are slowly and slowly moving out and some of them already in the process of shifting to their native place.... I guess from the current trend, many people will feel the pinch in the coming years ahead.

What else can be expected from the cheapest city to live in?

Just a few days ago Mumbai was declared to be globally the cheapest city to live in!

Cheapest city will have substandard living condition!

Why should this be surprising or even newsworthy?!
