You suffer far greater damage to your health if you live in big Indian cities breathing in the air polluted by vehicles and toxin spewing industries than you would from smoking!
But the hypocrisy in India in chastising smoking as the only source of Cancer and other deadly diseases is boundless!
Why does the government with its sanctimonious public awareness campaigns not ban smoking and production of Tobacco and forgo the tax revenues from them instead of going crazy about telling us how dangerous smoking and using tobacco products is?!

they will not do as expected by you because it is one their biggest sources of incomes, excise and taxes.
