1. Try to familiarise yourself with the host country .......... Don't behave like you behave in Andhra Telengana!
2. Equip yourself emotionally ......... You will feel lonely and homesick but get over it ..... what are you? 5 years old?!
3. Keep an open mind ........ there is no need to judge native females of the host countries as pr05t1tute5 because you see them with different boys everyday!
4. Travel light ........ Don't behave like a refugee migrating to a safer place with all his belongings!
5. Carry your drugs and prescriptions ......... do NOT carry drugs prescribed to others or in quantities that qualify you in the "intent to sell" category!
6. Certificates of immunisations and vaccinations ..... get yourself immunized if not for yourself at least for the sake of the native people in the host country! They don't deserve to get our diseases!
7. Make photocopies of your important documents ........ make copies of ALL your documents and leave one set behind in India. Ignore this point if you are from Andhra Telegana because all your documents are copies (forged) anyway!

8. Health and travel insurance ......... Healthcare cost in foreign countries have a better chance of killing you than the actual care you receive!
9. Keep essential documents ready ....... If you are from Andhra Telegana keep all your documents ready!
10. Look for a companionable roommate ......... DO NOT look for a room mate who is a native of the host country or from some other country! Many Indians have already ruined most of India's reputation abroad, you don't need to contribute to that mess! Look for a fellow Indian as a room mate!

I understand your pain - students of Andhra / Telangana are more in US/UK/AUS/NZ. Slowly we will make our place in Rest of India as well. U spend ur time in rediff and we will get score better in TOEFL and IELTS.

as if you are not id rediff... going to us is not a big thing.. those who are not acceptable in the land go to over seas...off shore as captian / cheif engr/merchant navy.. do not think they are all so intelligent.. since there is no scope in land they went overland/ overseas ..
