In India most of our health problems stem from changes in what we eat, drink and smoke and all have happened during the last 500 years or so. These changes include Sugar, Potato, Alcohol, Tobacco and using new Vegetable Oils for cooking.
1.0 Come what may in summer, winter or rainy season, walk daily 3 km in the morning or evening. 2.0 Limit your tea/coffee intake daily to 3 cups. 3.0 Take only home cooked food, with some exceptions on festivals or party. If necessary, learn how to cook. It is worth it. 4.0 Whether you are a veg or non-veg person, take one egg daily for fulfilling your all protein needs. 5.0 Take one glass of fat free milk daily. 6.0 Never skip breakfast and finish your dinner before 8 pm. 7.0 Take some fruit daily as a habit.
Jaggery is good for health. The same is also prepared from the same sugarcane. Preparation is easy and need not require much capital investment. The Govt. has to encourage jaggery production and consumption by reducing the market price of jaggery

Choose between Health and Taste wisely. Tongue is theenemy of a person if not used wisely (for words as well as taste).
some older tribes in central america and arctic and also australia aborigines had very good teeth and no gum disease. though they ate lot of meat and fats and preserved stuff,they didnt have processed/refined flour and sugars and that is the apparent culprit
Living natural is the most easiest thing. Fructose was said to be safer for diabetics and now they call for ban of fructose. every day there will be news to tell you how to live and how not to live. wondering what to do. eat less sugar and more fibre. save animals turn veg.
