Because of "Honda" brandname "Hero Motors" survived till date? Never Hero can't kill Honda, it can happen reverse, don't mistake. Also, also good products like Splendour, CBZ, karishma etc. sold because of Honda engg. and not Hero, remember the same thing happenened 20-25 years, when they launched 2 failure mopeds, i think hero majestic, other one i forgot, after tie-up with honda, they became no.1 in indian market.

Budyy show some spine, and at lest a little respect for Munjals. They are Businessmen, and have chosen the tough way by choosing to compete with HONDA, ut they deserve all the respect for doing so just as Bajaj deserves respect for acheiving success in Motorcycles. Good Luck to them.

I am sorry to say this. Even a roadside mechanic in Hydbad told me that the Hero Pleasure (which was then a Hero Honda pleasure) had taken everything from Honda except the exteriors and ignition, that's why it's most problematic to open a "Pleasure" for any repair and the ignition is terrible to say the least whereas Activa was much more easy in both these things. So all the best for the try but I am not confident on Her except for their ads.
It is strange to suggest that Hero is trying to "kill" Honda with the Pleasure and the Maestro. These scooters have Honda engines and transmissions; both companies gain from sales of them.
