don't do these things and think that ppl r not respecting u... modernity is a vague concept and it has no correlation with exposure of body and growth of intellect...

Mr. Tripathy,

It is no use telling them all this!

They just blindly follow anything and everything they see in the Western countries!

They dress and behave like they live in New York when the actually live in a Cong Party created h3ll called India where their behavior is perceived as an invitation to "take the initiative" in getting fresh with these women!

There is a very old saying ...... "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" ...... which means adapt to the situation!

If a person decides to walk around naked in a mosquito infested room, whose fault is it when the mosquitoes treat that person as a buffet table?!

it seems the author went to a fashion show for the first time

in any fashion show, to justify the outfit, most of the times models go commando, unless it is a lingerie show. The author of the article should have this much knowledge before covering a fashion show

Yes, he has been to a fashion show but this is the first he has been able to get a photo that corroborates this fact!

Besides, this claim titillates more if you can show a incriminating photo with the assertion.

Do you have any other perspectives besides your regressive religion?

It is so convenient!

It is only great when you bring up your religion everywhere, right?!

When other do it, they are an oaf?!

Wrong again, north indian dunce!

I am a Kerala hyndu! At least I have a hyndu name (though I have never practised religion).

North Indians in general, as the writer and social commentator Kuldip Nayyar has remarked, have psyches that are deeply scarred by the centuries of oppressive rule their forbears had to live with (under hyndu as well as muxlim kings) and this psyche easily springs to the surface at the slightest chance. South Indians according to Mr. Nayyar, are not so unfortunate. Their ancestors too saw a lot of strife and tyrranical rule by innumerable kings but the virulent religious communalism that marks out the average north Indian is absent in the average south Indian.

And one more detail, little dunce, that has struck me about north Indian boondocks such as UP, Bihar, Chattisgarh, etc is that the commoners are so taken up by the religious division between Muxlims and Hyndus but there is little actually (apart from the dress and food) to differentiate the two! Both the common north Indian hyndu as well as the common north Indian muxlim are very probably illiterate, both are very probably poor (often grindingly poor), both procreate in large numbers and so are unable to give their children their due, both suffer without the basic amenities of life such as easily available drinking water, sanitation (the defecation ghats along rivers in many towns are just so revoltingly eye catching - hyndu commoners as well as muslim commoners squat and dump in full public vi

View and unlike in south India (where open defecation has dropped ver sharply in recent dwcades and disappeared from Kerala ages ago), open defecation is the norm), pathetic state of public health service, education, food distribution, mini.um wages implementation, etc.

So, little oaf, the next time you open your trap to bray out hyndu, muxlim, muxlim, hyndu...., take a deep breath and stretch your little brain and try to remember that not everyone has religious identities always at the top of their minds.
