alternate ending
by Prithi on Mar 08, 2014 06:01 AM  | Hide replies

only in the third-class fiction world can there be an ending to wrench ppls hearts.

in my universe, here is the alternate ending:
mrs mukhrjee will become durga, and with fire in her eyes turn to mr mukherjee and say, "give me your shirt".
then regardless of the crowd around, she will wear the shirt and take off her saree.
she will throw it down and encourage her precious to clutch it.
only then will the crowd wakeup and help in pulling up hte poor child.
once her daugther is in her mothers arms, mrs mukherjee will glare at the everyone, "i spit on you for giving up".
and thus she saves 3 lives - her daughter, herself and her son.

these writers write useless junk, influence minds and rule the world. while real-life bravos go unnoticed.

correct. she is just playing with ppls sentiments. you are correct prithi, a mother will never tell a child to 'let go' . the premise itself is so bizarre.

No mother would let go off a child like that...She would ask the child to hold on and try out other means..they could have tied dupattas, sarees..etc...whatever possible..though the narration was good..this is something which I personally cannot believe..a mother asking her baby to let go off..mamma will catch u...
