So why doesn't Brazil sponsor Up? At least that will bring (perennially anticipated) development there.

Why we Indians think very negative!! Accept the happy moments and tackle the weakness of ours.
Think positive please. Stop criticizing others and look for solution of self-problem!!!!!
In India as in most places around the world, we refer to the sport as 'football' not 'soccer'. 'Soccer' is used only in America where they refer to another game where the players run with the ball in 'hand' as football !
