They had strong will power and therefore they could succeed. Had there been anyone else, they would have run away.

That's only one factor. There are scores of other factors which make great men. Only handful are settled on this side of the border (Good side.) Many have to be settled by passing over to the other side (Bad side) more often than not, even if you wish or not.

Anyway, lets' salute the Winning Spirit of great men.

Great articles on optimism
by Tapan Sutradhar on Jun 21, 2014 05:03 PM

In is a very touching and heart wrenching stories described by Gates, they have shown how we can contribute a small of effort to change the situation.Bill and mandela has shown how we can change the world by giving. It gives inner strength when we give something or plan to give something to others. Thus optimism is created. Long live Bill and Mandela.

What is real poverty?
by Srinivas vishnu on Jun 19, 2014 02:38 PM

There are many villages around the world, and many people, who are considered poor to western standards but they consider it as a way of life, according to their living circumstances and conditions. Many don't want to be beggars in the name of poverty, and they want to be independent. The real poverty is when they cannot earn enough - even for a meal - that is when they need help to earn their livelihood and live in dignity. A helping hand should find ways to provide that resource.
