There is only one city in this country that is good. That is Chandigarh. Delhi is bad because of the people and Mumbai is bad because of the infrastructure

Then why is unemployment so high in Punjab if you have the best city in the country?
Bachelors are discriminated like terrorists here. North Indians are treated like untouchables here(I am a south Indian though). I have lived and worked in many cities, some of which are Hyderabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal and Indore. Nowhere i felt like I am into any mental asylum unless i came 2 mumbai. You can be arrested for ringing at the wrong bell, no matter how you apologize. Even ringing a murderer's door is much safer. You can be be victimized for requesting your young neighbor to reduce the volume of their irritating item songs' loud volume. A search warrant may be issued against you if u refuse to pay minimum 500 INR to some men, who claim themselves to be society secretaries, for donations for their daily festivals(thousands of festivals for Hindus) I had personally faced these weird problems, and the some mumbaikars are like, ye yahan ka system hai, aapko system ke hisaab se jeena padega. Nowhere i had ever seen such pathetic system. Fooding is not good. Laundry system ll loot you like 100 INR per piece of cloth just for washing, and people term Mumbai as Dhobi Ghat.
Last but not the least, after facing such weirdest problems, which you ll not face even in the costliest city in the world, Tokyo, where i was once deputed for 8 months, some Mumbaikars will come to you and say, "Now that you have come to Mumbai, you ll never leave it. You ll settle down here." Srsly, it ws a mental asylum 4 me, worser than Tokyo, where ppl hardly can spe

I totally agree with you. Everyone behaves like a chota don and makes life difficult for new comers. I am from this city but don't stay here anymore. Whenever I come back my holiday is never complete without a few fights with some crazy frustrated people out there.

1.Local trains-less crowded and comfortable. 2.Sprawling Chawls-and Jhuggis at each and every corner and beside every tall multistoried, quite a sight. 3.Roads-Neat and wide, with black/yellow cabs are quite international. 4.Bada Pav-and medu wada and more wadas are quite mouthwatering street delicacies. 5. Restaurant-Plus bar a common sight for all cultured people.
After all it is called Shanghai for nothing. If mumbaikars still don't get it they have to come to delhi to stay for a while.Even stray dogs in delhi lead a decent life.

Even though Delhi is better in terms of infrastructure, but the people are real cheeeeewteeeeaaahs.
If you have the good fortune of having a seven figure annual salary, a comfortable place to stay and, well, loads of money to splurge then you will definitely love it in Mumbai. However, I would rather that a person who earns 10-15k per month, commutes by the local trains or buses for hours, has a nullah view house (that too on rent) should write an article on this topic. That would be a true assessment of the city.

i agree. but even though the person earns only that much, this is the only city that probably lets him earn that much. the only reason he can support his family back home is for the opportunities he got in this city. back home, or in most other cities he would starve. so, I dare say, this person too will speak glowingly of Mumbai. in my assessment, the only species who will develop an instant dislike to Mumbai will be the boy from delhi. the moment he comes here, he will start complaining and start speaking in a parochial manner. but no use talking to him, he will never "get" mumbai. leave him be.

Abe Asheesh Kumar ..I will see you posting abuse on Mumbai articles. I don't think you have been there, it's just jealousy.

Yup, it's pure jealousy. North Indian Leaders have till now kept their cities undeveloped just so that they keep the reins (n profits) in their own hands.
