she is not Indian

plain and simple. Let us not take pride on people who are not Indians. This is silly. These ABCD girls are the rudest to Indian women than some of the american women, in my personal experience.

Indian Christians sell out India
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Jun 06, 2014 12:20 AM  | Hide replies

Indian Christians tend sell out India to the highest bidder. These people converted themselves from Hindusim to Christianity for various types of benefits during the British Raj, some of which are of pecuniary, educational and social nature. It is their choice in e democracy, but their loyalty to their native country is usually compromised by these people, based on the personal experiences of several people and the press. This is also an important factor as Indian Christians may look for a profit motive through these types of publicity reports.

Nia Davuluri is useless too, but Lucy Edwards is better in the sellout business. One of my earlier comments addressed this issue, but it was eliminated adroitly by the moderator.

Not any concern
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Jun 06, 2014 12:16 AM

It should not be the concern of the Indian press to bother or worry about the emergence of an Indian American as Miss America. These Indian Americans do not work for the welfare of India, and should be treated by the Indian press nearly on par with other Americans with reference to news worthiness and reporting priorities. Unless the Indian press is tough and open minded, these Indian Americans will exploit other Indians and over-sell themselves with relatively poor qualifications. In a free market, the Indian press must set up a level playing field.
