The author has pointed a wrong fact in the concluding para.
Rahmatullah Hotel is more popularly known as KAYIKA and NOT Kayees. Moreover it is located in old Mattencherry Area near Annavadal.(Not in Fort Kochi as mentioned by the author).
As a foodie,It is one of the most delicious biriyani serving eatery, which I have experienced around the world. If u get a chance just try it. But you must have patience. You may be required to stand in queue for about an hour, before you get a seat or even get a parcel in this MODERATELY FURNISHED hotel.

Fort Kochi is simply overrated. Ms Rao either hasn't travelled much or simply have no sense of beauty. Jew street / dutch palace etc are ordinary, not worth your time. Beach is poor, chines fishing nets are okay.
If you want to see Kerala, Munnar, Wayanad etc are good. Kumarakom / backwaters is good only if you stay at a five star hotel / hire a houseboat and okay to spend couple of days without much activity. Kochi, may be as a starting point - spend few hours for site seeing, but not a place to stay and explore.

I don't know which 'spot' is good in kerala. Maybe there is none.
But the moment you step into those borders you will feel the greenery, the breeze, the clean breath. If anything, so experience the monsoon. The rain... in the trees

Me making a Keral person like yourself angry enough to make him write a "long reply" in itself is a gratifying achievement!
L 0 L !
Please clarify (if you can spare a few moments of your super precious time) what do you mean by "real world"?!
If you mean that I may get hurt if I mentioned this absolute truth in the company of Keral people, you are sadly mistaken.
This fact was not my observation but that of a Keral person.
He actually brought this to my notice by pointing out a few not-so-evolved Keral people to prove his point!
And for the part about the "fight finding me", you Keral simians really need to take your overconfidence and misplaced bravado out of the equation when it comes to fighting! You people are neither made of steel nor do you not bleed like everyone else!
Anyway, thanks for making my day by responding with your "terse" reply!
