Though their love for animals should be respectrd, It is so surpising that this save animal people become active as soon as they get to read some Muslim festival non veg dishes.But in reality maxm no of non muslim population of India are non veg eaters. They should give their opinions on other occasions too.
When our babies are born and do not drink mother's milk or mother is not able to provide milk in first few days, then we feed it the cow or buffalo's milk. Acknowledging this I have special respect for these mammals and we are morally obliged to them for our life time. This is one of the reasons why Hindus and some other religions have special regard for these animals. Animals express and we feel the life inside them. Whereas plants have life inside them but show no expression outside. When we kill animals they cry or squeal before they die whereas plants do not. After gaining these consciences strong people try to reduce or avoid consuming meat/dairy/animal products whereas weak people ignore the fact.

The moral of the story is Kill animals.birds,plants and veggies but not people in the name of religion.

All because no special dish except Turkey is cooked during Christmas time. Those like myself who does not like the bland taste of Turkey roast chicken.
